About - Jovert Palonpon

Previously held the Technical Lead position at Asceoft, where I pioneered the Melonplus project, an e-commerce platform. I was a major part of the backend architecture for the project where in I was the one that did the micro-services architecture using Node.js, Fastify, Typescript, PostgreSQL and RabbitMQ. I was also involved heavily in developing the core functionalities required for the MVP. I also introduced business process automations using Camunda 8 for the most crucial processes in the platform, configured the CI/CD workflows using Github Actions and created the Infrastructure Code utilizing AWS CDK, wrote & managed the API documentation for the majority of the API endpoints.

Before Asceoft, I held a Senior Full Stack Developer and then promoted as Technical Lead at Clarity Stack. I was a core contributor to the main platform, which is focused on providing contracts in a business to business (B2B) manner, I provide technical solutions for the business needs, I helped in revamping the platform multiple times, wrote the migration scripts in PHP and MySQL required to retain customer data before porting the functionalities in the new API centric backend using Laravel where I was also a core contributor, I helped in standardizing feature and integration testing, wrote CI/CD workflows using Github Actions. We also migrated our frontend to Vue.js version 3 (previously from version 2). I was a core contributor to the new admin panel we developed in which we solidify the usage of Typescript and state management using Pinia, I introduced pair programming for code reviews as well being the Technical Lead there.

I also held Full Stack Developer Roles at Appetiser Apps, Pushfit.tv, Xceed CCS and iParent Portal inc. in the past.
